Camo can be a fun way to add some flair to an already classic style, be it funky shoes, a stylized bag , or a great vintage piece. Choosing the right pattern or color can be a fashion mine field, it’s easy to get sucked into the traditional colors of green and black, take a breath and explore some of the more wild colors and patterns that are available.
"If you treat camouflage as you would any other print then this immediately makes it more grown-up,” says Bateman.
A different way of looking at camouflage is as a classic neutral, being the glue that can bind two completely different accessories in one neat package. Not that the bold ideas of high fashion are completely in left field, but high fashion is synonymous with high dollar, how can you take those ideas and translate them into a unique look for the fall season?
Jessica Gorason a contributor for the Boston Herald and store owner of Holiday says, “I'm still cautiously embracing it. A versatile scarf, casual pair of leggings (with an oversized cozy cashmere sweater) or a fall loafer is right about my speed.”
When worn right you will have a hard time blending in with the right camouflage pieces. Be ready for this seasons fashion by exploring some vintage looks using camo print, or go bold with the wide array of colors and patterns available.
